This riverside corn mill has been converted into a refreshingly different designer hotel in Leeds, located on the edge of the River Aire and just minutes from the city centre.

Harvey Nichols and the Victoria Quarter are close the hotel and the train station is 5 minutes away. Leeds and Bradford Airport is 9 miles (14.5 km) away. 42 The Calls shares its site with Brasserie Forty 4, an informal, fashionable and buzzing venue with 2 AA Rosettes. The hotel offers exceptional service and modern English interiors. Enjoy handmade beds with Egyptian-cotton linen, carefully selected paintings and drawings, and friendly touches such as homemade cookies and fudge. Rooms also have an interactive plasma TV and internet access. Everywhere are signs of the building's previous life as a corn mill. Some walls are hung with photographs of the mill during its conversion; many rooms feature large mill windows with wooden shutters; others have remnants of the mills pulleys, wheels and girders in the ceilings and walls; and some have seating areas that overhang the water?s edge.

By Train: Walk along Boar Lane to the Corn Exchange building; turn right at Pizza Express; turn left and the hotel façade can be seen on The Calls Landing. By Car: - Follow the signs towards Leeds’ city centre and pick up the city centre loop road. - Exit the city centre loop road at junction 15 (after Parish Church). - The hotel is on the left-hand side. Parking: The nearest car park to the hotel is the NCP located on New York Street. You are more than welcome to drop your luggage off at the hotel before parking your car.
